SIBC students will research and present a three-part project:
Part one: Create a branding kit
Part two: Perform a market analysis of competitors and develop a marketing strategy.
Part Three: Design a new uniform/work shirt for Touchwood Tree Services and research suppliers to have the shirts manufactured, considering factors such as price, quality, sun safety, and printing techniques.

“This semester with SIBC, my team and I worked with Touchwood Tree Services, a small arborist company in Swansea, Australia. It was such an incredible opportunity to travel to Australia and meet with our client Amii. I was inspired by her generosity in welcoming us to her country and her deep passion for their business and values. Our team has worked hard to source and design custom work shirts for Touchwood Tree Services, perform a market analysis, and offer suggestions for improving their branding kit. This project and trip to Australia has certainly been a once in a lifetime experience and I have learned so many valuable lessons in teamwork, organization, and leadership!"

“Our SIBC team has worked with Touchwood Tree Service, an Australian-based arborist company, on redesigning uniforms, rebranding, and conducting a market analysis. During our visit, we met with the client, family members, and crew members, which truly highlighted how important family incorporation and employee meaning are in a business. This project has been an unforgettable experience in traveling, collaborating with my peers, and expanding my knowledge of the tree service industry. I am incredibly thankful to have been a member of this project and spread SIBC’s vision of ‘Peace through Commerce."
