SIBC students created a marketing kit for DeMicoli & Associates to provide more consistent branding across various businesses that are a part of the Malta Spinola Park Project. “DeMicoli & Associates is an established architectural, engineering, and interior design firm based in Malta. The company has gained international recognition, with an established reputation for excellent architectural design and execution, having successfully designed prestigious projects in various locations besides Malta, including the United Kingdom, Turkey, Sicily, Libya, Germany, Moscow, Bratislava, Sardinia, St Martin and the United States.”

“This semester, I had the incredible opportunity to work on an international consulting project with Spinola Park in Malta through the Student International Business Council. Partnering with DeMicoli & Associates, our team focused on rebranding Spinola Park and developing creative strategies to increase usage of their 450 - space car park located in the heart of St. Julien’s. From analyzing user data to designing a cohesive brand identity, we collaborated across disciplines to deliver a comprehensive marketing kit that addressed both the client’s practical needs and long-term vision. This project gave me firsthand experience in client communication, cultural awareness, and strategic thinking - skills I know will serve me well in my future career. SIBC has given me more than just business experience—it has helped me grow professionally, personally, and globally. By working with an international client, I learned how commerce can bridge cultural gaps and build meaningful connections. This project embodied SIBC’s mission of “Peace through Commerce” by allowing us to support a sustainable, community-focused initiative that benefits both locals and visitors in Malta. I’m deeply grateful for SIBC for giving me these life-changing opportunities and experiences!" - Brook Hatzmann

“I had the opportunity this semester to be a co-leader on the Spinola Park Project. It was an exciting and amazing opportunity to work with my fellow classmates and it was great to see how each of us were able to use our skills in different ways. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with a team to develop my leadership, communication, and marketing skills.” - Joseph Anderson
