Colores y Sabores, situated in Cozumel, Mexico, partnered with the SIBC at Benedictine College to facilitate the creation of a new website and marketing strategy. The objective of the collaboration was to meticulously research and formulate an optimal marketing plan for the client, ensuring it aligned with their particular business goals. Simultaneously, the team embarked on the task of crafting a high-quality website, prioritizing user-friendliness and customization to meet the specific requests of Colores y Sabores. As the project unfolded, the team integrated their research, design, and marketing efforts, synthesizing the results into a comprehensive final presentation that served as a valuable asset for Colores y Sabores in navigating the digital landscape and enhancing its online presence.
"Directing the Colores y Sabores (Mexico) project has granted me the ability to develop my leadership skills and gain real-world experience. I have learned how to effectively manage a large team, delegate tasks to members, and oversee each step of the process. This SIBC project has also allowed me to practice my Spanish proficiency in a business setting through various phone calls and emails with the client. This has served as a valuable opportunity to extend my conversational ability into a more formal and professional field. I am grateful for this special experience and excited to present our work to the client in Cozumel, Mexico." - Danny Escala
